Saffron is one of the most valuable agricultural products both in Iran and the whole world, which has fascinated people with its pleasant color, aroma and of course its unique taste. Due to its excellent features, saffron is considered as one of the substantial food spices for the worldwide consumers and also high quality and rich product in the Food and Pharmaceutical industries. Other than that, it is well known as a valuable gift! Nowadays, with the expansion of cultivation rate and upgrade of farming and processing methods, there are considerable improvements in nutrition facts, specifications, color, flavor, and the condition of the final products. Many factors such as agricultural soil type, fertilizers, irrigation time, etc… must be met in order to cultivate healthy saffron with pleasant color and aroma. Implementation of all these essential points and obtaining high-grade saffron can only be done by a committed specialist who has the necessary knowledge and fulfills them during the cultivation process.
IRIS is not just a trader! We do ourselves all the stages of planting and harvesting of our products or we take direct control of it. We do not use any direct or indirect pesticides in any stage of cultivation, neither inside nor around the ground and in order to ward off the farm from probable invading rodents! The water used for irrigation is tested, just to make sure that it is rich enough and all contents are within the needed standards for growth of saffron plant. Finally, the soil under cultivation is periodically tested in the best reference laboratory in this filed in order to provide in the best way, all the necessary conditions for saffron during the cultivation period and produce a desirable saffron with the highest quality and memorable taste. Last but not the least, we believe that the packaging of saffron should be as fascinating as this attractive and magical plant, and as a valued gift or souvenir, it’s supposed to have an eye-catching appearance in addition to its beautiful color and good flavor! The packaging is done by the machine with hygiene-related observances and the result is pleasant and dazzling for sure.
In IRIS, relying on our theorical scientific backgrounds, our enthusiasm also more than 5 years of time and energy spent for an investigation into the best cultivation methods and full details of saffron processing, we achieved and collected comprehensive information using the knowledge of the specialists and the experiences of the rural farmers. Also, exhaustive researches on systematic harvesting and drying together with hygienic, up-to-date & stylish packaging led us to use the equipment and machineries required by this industry. Finally, we selected the best ones from all the traditional and mechanized methods and by combining tradition and modernity, we started planting saffron and harvesting and packaging it.

Our goal in starting the business, in addition to love for this magnificent red gold, is to provide an excellent and high-quality product and also, entrepreneurship in our country based on Iran's own capabilities and capacities. We intend to have a modern work environment based on genuine Iranian businesses and create a safe and professional atmosphere for our colleagues, on top of them by diligent farmers.
